Singapore's Gardens by the Bay is a stunning urban park- the result of perhaps the most significant competition for an urban park since Parc de la Villette. Among countless international accolades, the gardens has been crowned by the World Architectural Festival as the World Best Building of the Year. This futuristic masterpiece of urban planning takes natural elements and supersizes them up for the skyscraper-scale of the metropolis: garden-city planning for the 21st century.
